OHAfrica supports a small
team of Canadian health care professionals at
the Tšepong Clinic in Lesotho. Based on
the changing needs of the program, OHAfrica
is looking for Canadian physicians and nurse
practitioners, preferably with HIV experience
and experience working in developing countries.
Prospective volunteers should be interested
in working alongside other Canadian and Basotho
health care providers at the Tšepong Clinic
to administer the district antiretroviral program
and to provide training and support to local
health care providers working in HIV care in
Lesotho. Placement terms are a minimum of six
months and are ideally 12-month terms. Occasionally
the project also needs shorter-term locums.
