To date, OHAfrica is
responsible for:

- Establishing the Tšepong
Clinic as Lesotho’s largest and busiest
antiretroviral (ARV) treatment centre;
- Increasing the number
of HIV-positive patients enroled at the Tšepong
Clinic from 116 to over 6,000 patients in
two years. The clinic continues to enrol over
half of all new patients put on ARV therapy
in Lesotho each month;
- Helping to boost the number
of people with AIDS in Lesotho receiving ARV
therapy from less than two percent to almost
10% within one year;
- Facilitating the effective
roll-out of HIV care to community-based primary
care centres throughout the Leribe district;
- Establishing the Tšepong
Clinic as a benchmark for ARV treatment in
Lesotho and in sub-Saharan Africa.
